Scientifically formulated, high strength, multivitamin and mineral, with activated B vitamins and highly absorbable minerals may help to maintain the body’s nutritional needs particularly where a specialist diet is being followed. Certain diets can lead to nutritional insufficiencies, including dairy free,7 vegan/vegetarian,8 low carbohydrate9 and diets low in red meat.10 This may increase the need for additional nutrients including iron,11 calcium,12 zinc, vitamin B1, B12, B6, folate and magnesium.13 Metagenics High Strength BioEssentials is high in nutrients that may be low in a specialist diet.
Addressing nutrient insufficiences. Metagenics High Strength BioEssentials contains 12 vitamins and 9 minerals, with a focus on bioavailable and active nutrients, including Meta Mag®Magnesium bisglycinate and activated B vitamins; 5-methyltetrahydrofolate, riboflavin sodium phosphate and pyridoxal 5-phosphate. Nutrients are required for normal body function and health as well as preventing nutritional insufficiencies.
Antioxidant Protection. Body cells and tissues are continuously threatened by the damage caused from free radicals and reactive oxygen species, which are produced during normal oxygen metabolism or are induced by exogenous damage. Free radicals can attract various inflammatory mediators, contributing to a general inflammatory response and tissue damage.14 Metagenics High Strength BioEssentials provides antioxidants to help protect healthy body cells from free radical oxidative damage by scavenging free radicals.

Directions
Adults:
Take 1 tablet twice daily with food.
Warnings
This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
