• Derma-Clear is recommended for inflammatory skin conditions (psoriasis, eczema, skin eruptions) and works by supporting the lymphatic system, promoting toxin elimination and modulating inflammatory mediators. Western herbal lymphatics, depuratives and alteratives such as Burdock, Cleavers, and Dandelion root, were traditionally used to promote toxin elimination through natural channels of elimination such as the liver and kidneys to cleanse the lymph and blood and prevents re-circulation of toxins through the lymphatic system, thereby addressing underlying causes of skin eruptions and breakouts. Flare-ups of common skin conditions can result from insufficient lymphatic system function, dysregulation of immune responses, and inadequate toxin elimination. Stimulation of lymphatic endothelial vasculature has been shown to improve lymphatic function and reduce skin inflammation severity, relieving conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis.
• Grape seed extract (GSE), including the active component procyanidins, improves dermal circulation, providing nutrients, oxygen and lipids to the skin. Curcumin down-regulates pro-inflammatory mediators and reduces hyper-proliferation of keratinocytes, relieving common symptoms of eczema and psoriasis, including redness, itching, scaling and skin dryness. BCM-95 Turmeric is a standardised curcumin extract, offering enhanced absorption.
• Acne and Rosacea: Curcumin and Grape seed extract suppress the growth of gram-positive bacteria, which may assist in reducing the bacteria involved in acne. Cleavers and Burdock have immune-regulatory and anti-bacterial activity, which may assist in reducing skin inflammation and targeting the acne causing bacteria. Rosacea is a skin condition characterized by dysregulated inflammatory, vascular and lymphatic processes. Down-regulation of such inflammatory mediators with curcumin and support of the vascular and lymphatic systems with Grape seed extract may provide relief of associated inflammatory symptoms including redness.
