Metagenics AdrenoTone® contains the synergy of adaptogenic, energising herbs with the amino acid tyrosine.

Supports stress-induced fatigue: Chronic exposure to stress can generate a maladaptive response, disrupting the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA) axis, leading to mental and physical exhaustion. The herbs ginseng, rhodiola, withania, and liquorice root have been traditionally used to reduce adrenal and nervous exhaustion. Rhodiola and Korean ginseng support catecholamine function, improving cognitive and physical performance in patients experiencing stress and low stamina. Tyrosine is the core amino acid that synthesises dopamine and noradrenaline and provides essential neurotransmitter support.

In a clinical trial, 52 subjects experiencing chronic stress received withania extract (600mg/day), which drastically reduced perceived stress after four and eight weeks of supplementation (p<0.05), as well as a reduction in serum cortisol levels (p<0.05).[1]

Improves mental and physical stamina: Rhodiola has demonstrated efficacy in enhancing mental and physical performance in diverse populations, including university students, night shift workers, athletes, and those with demanding work schedules. Korean ginseng (200mg/day) has also demonstrated enhanced cognitive ability under stress in a group of young adults.[2]
