Metagenics Proxan contains ingredients that are used by the body in the production of neurotransmitters serotonin and melatonin which help with sleeping and mood disorders.

  • Each ingredient is carefully selected for its powerful action in regulating the central nervous system (CNS).
  • Ingredients such as 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) and S-Adenosyl Methionine (SAMe) have unique properties that assist with the management of mood swings.
  • Whilst these nutrients are powerful alone, Proxan includes B group vitamins, minerals and dl-Phenylalanine enhancing a unique formula.
  • Oral administration of (5-HTP) is well absorbed with 70% uptake into the blood stream. 5-HTP has also been shown to easily cross the blood-brain barrier.
  • Melatonin, a neuropeptide produced by the pineal gland in the brain, has also been shown to increase following oral administration of 5-HTP.

Directions

Adults:

Take 1 capsule daily on an empty stomach with juice or water, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
