Dose & Administration

Adults:

Mix 1 scoop (37.5 g) with 250 mL of water and stir until combined. Consume up to 13 scoops (487.5 g) per day or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Contains no artificial colours, preservatives, or sweeteners; no dairy, wheat, gluten, yeast, egg, shellfish, tree nuts or GMOs.

Contra-Indications

Avoid if persistent nausea/vomiting and/or mechanical obstruction. Safety during pregnancy/lactation is not established. Diabetics should monitor blood sugar closely.

Warnings

Vitamins and minerals can only be of assistance if dietary intake is inadequate. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.

Phenylketonurics are warned that this product contains phenylalanine.

Do not use if you are pregnant or likely to become pregnant.

This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms of selenium for adults from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Contains dextrose.

Contains zinc which may be dangerous if taken in large amounts or for a long period.

Precautions and contraindications

This product must be used under medical supervision. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a disease. Avoid if persistent nausea/vomiting and/or mechanical obstruction.

Diabetics should monitor blood sugar closely. ElementAll™ Diet contains dextrose, which increases the risk of hyperglycaemia. Contains phenylalanine.

Avoid in patients with phenylketonuria unless under close supervision.

Contains selenium.

Adverse effects

Gastrointestinal adverse effects may occur:

Intestinal cramping has been reported with elemental diets due to the high osmolarity of the product.

The calorie-rich formula may also retard gastric emptying, leading to gastric retention and distension.

Nausea and vomiting have also been reported with elemental diets.

Constipation may occur in some individuals as elemental diets do not contain fibre.
Reduction in the rate of consumption and, if applicable increased dilution may assist with adverse effects.

Pregnancy and lactation

Use in pregnancy and lactation is not recommended as safety has not been established.
