Ingredient Summary: BioCeuticals Ultra Muscleze Night
UltraMag is a proprietary blend of highly bioavailable magnesium chelates including Albion TRAACS magnesium lysinate glycinate chelate. Albion scientists have bonded magnesium with amino acids, which the body is able to recognise and absorb.
The Real Amino Acid Chelate System (TRAACS) products are created through Albion’s unique scientific process that turns elemental mineral forms into organic chelates that are stable, readily absorbed and well tolerated. TRAACS minerals have become the industry standard for high-quality chelated mineral products. Albion’s magnesium chelates have been clinically demonstrated to be highly bioavailable organic forms of magnesium. Because Albion’s magnesium chelate does not ionise in the gut, it is well tolerated and is unlikely to cause the gastrointestinal distress evident with other magnesium sources. It is stable, well tolerated and highly bioavailable.
Magnesium has well-known effects on muscles – relieving the cramps and mild muscle spasms associated with insufficient magnesium intake and facilitating muscle relaxation. Magnesium also reduces sleeplessness and excessive nervous energy, and supports healthy sleep patterns which may be disrupted by inadequate magnesium.
Lactium is a milk protein hydrolysate which contains a bioactive peptide, alpha-casozepine. Multiple studies have shown Lactium to relieve symptoms of stress.[6,7]
Additional nutrient support
BioCeuticals Ultra Muscleze Night contains nutrients which support the nervous system. Magnesium supports healthy nervous system function, inositol supports the secondary messenger system between cells, including nerve cells, and choline is used to synthesize the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Like magnesium, calcium is also required for normal healthy muscle contraction and relaxation; it is also essential for healthy bone development.
